Engineering Mechanical Design Engineering

Requirements:
  • Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD 14 & 2000
  • Knowledge of “C” programming desired
  • 3-5 years hands-on experience as a Design Engineer
  • BSME degree preferred
  • Excellent work record

Engineering Design Draftsman

Reports To: Director of Engineering

Requirements:
  • 2-years minimum experience
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD 14 & 2000
  • Responsible for support and production of mechanical 2D and 3D drawings
  • High School or Technical School diploma
  • M/S Windows experience

Engineering Draftsperson/Data Input

Reports To: Director of Engineering

Requirements:
  • Entry level
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD 14 & 2000
  • Good keyboarding skills for inputting Bill of Materials, Parts List etc.

Manufacturing Sewing Machine Technician/Sew-off
Testing of sewing machines and automated workstations manufactured by AAC prior to equipment shipping to customer to insure quality, performance and compliance to customer specifications.

Reports To:
Vice President Manufacturing

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of sewing machine mechanical operation, specifically chain stitch and lock stitch sewing machines. 
  • Knowledge of sergers and flatbed equipment a must. 
  • Strong mechanical aptitude a must.

Other Responsibilities:
Assist in other areas of manufacturing as required

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
4 plus years experience preferred, stable work history and trade or technical school a plus.


Technical Services Product Specialist
Primary responsibility is to support the Sales and Manufacturing groups in their efforts to sell and manufacture automated workstations and labor saving systems. This position requires travel both domestically and internationally. Some on-job training will be available for an individual that does not possess all qualifications required, but has the potential to learn at rapid pace to develop necessary job skills.

Reports To: Vice President of Customer Service

Requirements:

  • Have clean driving record  
  • Have strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills
  • Have advanced knowledge of lockstitch, chainstitch and overedge sewing machines
  • Perform arithmetic functions and comprehend mechanical drawings
  • Comprehend and use electrical schematics with confidence
  • Have effective communication and organizational skills
  • Write effective service reports
  • On-site servicing and installation of  workstations and/or labor saving devices
  • Diagnose problems using common troubleshooting techniques and advise machine operators how to properly maintain their equipment.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Understand the capabilities, functions, and use of personal computers and software applications for e-mail and written reports, as well as uploading software programs.
  • Be comfortable with leading customer training classes
  • Be familiar with safety and preventive maintenance programs. Lead discussions on  the causes, effects, and goals of a successful preventive maintenance program

Education, Experiance and Skills Required:
This position requires an in-depth understanding of mechanical applications, pneumatics, industrial electricity, electronics and industrial sewing applications, which are achieved by education or experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5  years of industrial electricity and mechanical applications
  • 3 - 5 years of  industrial sewing machine repair and setup experience
  • Experience with PLC and  similar types of controller programming
  • Travel experience both domestic and international
